Automation in home business

How much time do you spend doing the same thing day after day. You get up, check your email, check the news, check the weather and get out the door to work. Wash, rinse, and repeat. You do this every day, until your coffee pot is set on a timer.

Why not set your computer the same way? Computers are uniquely suited to automating your every day tasks. With a click of ONE icon on my computer, I download my email, the news, weather, and several other streams of data, from a simple script. The same thing applies to your business.

When you run an online business, you use automated marketing. It goes through your web page, email, and phone voicemail. If you are not automating things, you are hurting yourself. You spend half your day doing things your computer can do with a bit of direction.

Computers even have a built in task scheduler that will allow you to set when tasks are done. Take advantage of your computer by learning some basic skills. Old school batch files for windows and *nix script files are wonderful things that are simple to write once you know how.
